  The pub could do better. At lunchtime it was not the cleanest, and the staff were not as friendly as in so many other neighborhood pubs. Perhaps a bad day - we will be back for their Thursday curry special in the next couple of weeks and try them again. Nice location, nice building.

  The Lord Burton is a typical JD Wetherspoon pub: neither too shabby nor truly special, with alcoholic drinks at rock-bottom prices, lots of interesting guest ales on hand pumps, and solid, if streamlined, convenience food. The real ale range here is good, even for Burton, and the prices unbeatable: Down to UKP 1.99 per pint of guest ale. The decor has certainly seen better days, but the style is not why you go to the Spoon. At those prices, naturally, it attracts a certain clientèle, and on weekend nights things can get a little rambunctious. Much better than the Prince of Brewers next door though.

  Overall a good place to meet your family and friends, The drinks are at great prices, The atmosphere is alright, the only downside i can say for this pub is at night-times, especially the weekend, it can get very very busy as many people go there to drink before a night out clubbing in Burton.
  The food i have received has always been up to standard, very tasty and satisfying, also the staff are always polite, chatty and welcoming !

  Lord Burton is a very popular pub in town. It's always crammed full of people on a Friday and Saturday night so the atmosphere is very good in there!
  
  They serve food, and have certain days where certain meals are on offer, like curry night or burger night.
  
  It is a very social pub, and the garden is a nice place to sit in the summer time.

  A typical Wetherspoon's pub with reasonably priced drinks and food. Unfortunately, the pub is very long and fairly narrow, it is situated in what used to be half of an old Woolworth's store, and consequently dark and gloomy inside. The service leaves a lot to be desired and for some reason, the staff in this Wetherspoon's branch are of a a lesser standard than those found other branches. Shame, as this is the only Wetherspoons in the UK brewery capital and really should be better.
